Healthy Banana Bread Donuts with Peanut Butter Frosting

Health Fun Fact

These donuts are sweetened with bananas and maple syrup, and I feel like maple syrup is such an underrated sweetener! Not only does it have a lower glycemic index than refined sugar (which means it spikes your blood sugar less), it contains numerous antioxidants, Zinc and Manganese. I love anything that comes from nature, and this natural sweetener is no different!

This is your sign to get a donut pan so you can make healthy banana bread donuts!! These donuts are super fluffy and moist (sorry not sorry for using this word haha). They’re healthy since they’re naturally sweetened by bananas and have only 2 tbsp of maple syrup in the whole batch, and they’re easy to make!
