Healthy Banana Bread Donuts with Peanut Butter Frosting
This is your sign to get a donut pan so you can make healthy banana bread donuts!! These donuts are super fluffy and moist (sorry not sorry for using this word haha). They’re healthy since they’re naturally sweetened by bananas and have only 2 tbsp of maple syrup in the whole batch, and they’re easy to make!
Recipe
Ingredients:
2 ripe bananas, mashed
2 tablespoon melted grass-fed butter (I love @raw_farm_by_op raw butter)
2 eggs (preferable pasture-raised & organic)
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 and 1/4 cups almond flour (I use Bob’s Red Mill)
2 tablespoons coconut flour (also Bob’s Red Mill)
A sprinkle of salt (I love Redmond Real Salt)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
In a bowl, mix everything together
Place in a glass baking dish
Bake at 350F for 18-20 minutes! Enjoyyy 😋
