Healthy Refined Sugar-free Peanut Butter Bars
Health Fun Fact
I love making healthy desserts sweetened with bananas because bananas are a natural sweetener! When you eat sugar from a whole fruit (ie. bananas, dates, etc.), you also get the fiber and nutrients that come from the fruit, alongside the sugar. This slows down the absorption of sugar and doesn’t spike your blood sugar as much!
What better way to start off your week than making a batch of these chocolate peanut butter bars!! They’re paleo, refined-sugar free, and are sweetened with only one tbsp of maple syrup!! They’re the perfect grab-and-go snack to have prepped for the week!
