Paleo Turkey Burger Patties

Health Fun Fact

The reason these patties are a little yellow is because of the turmeric in them! The active component in turmeric is called curcumin, and it’s a great anti-inflammatory (helps fight inflammation in the body which can lead to diseases like heart disease and cancer) and antioxidant (fights free radicals in the body). Make sure to add a little black pepper whenever using turmeric in a recipe because black pepper activates curcumin and makes it more bioavailable!
